One of the nonprofits that inspires me locally here in Santa Cruz is a youth empowerment and food justice organization called "Food, What!?" Doron doesn’t work with A students or B students. Today, there are thirty kids fidgeting in a classroom, talking to their friends, messing with their phones. Hanging out.

And what I always tell the students that I work with is, number one, stay in community. So we're bringing a lot of elements together, the innerpersonal the activist. Do not isolate. It's so easy. I think another challenge is staying in our bodies, and how do we stay sustainable ourselves.
