It is easy to post a link to a crowdfunding platform or to your website’s donation page, but letting supporters give directly through Facebook makes it even easier to capture impulse donors. For starters, you don’t get contact information for all your donors, only those who choose to share. Again, not ideal. State the need.

Their Tweetsgiving campaigns were fundraisers benefiting Mama Lucy’s school in Tanzania and connected the students to their supporters through Twitter. Donors could communicate with the students, and they thanked participants directly – building lasting relationships. Another great example is Epic Change.
