Those of us in developed nations are fortunate in some ways that great amounts of data are available -- data about our people, places, and activities.

CrisisCamps took off after the earthquake in Haiti. CrisisCamps are independent, disbursed, volunteer efforts to develop lightweight technology solutions to help with disaster relief. By using cloud-based tools, these disbursed teams were working remotely and together on one shared system.
