How about Digg ? I thought one organization I was working with was getting great traffic from Digg, in part due to highly placed users who seemed to really like our stuff. But then we were approached by a high profile Digg user and asked to work out a reward for future links (i.e. he wanted to get paid for linking to us).

Danielle Brigida from NWF presented a case study on Digg and StumbleUpon. It took her 7 months to establish relationships in the Digg community sufficiently to get good results (ie, popular stories). What can they do? I’d be happy to moderate that panel next year in San Francisco.

That being said, maybe I have somewhat of a problem reaching whoever I want to reach by the more 2.0 link] It tracks Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, LinkedIn. Even with a more traditional digital approach.
