Now" is not an easy business model to chase--especially for institutions rooted in permanence. I used to work at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA. Or Streb Labs , where choreographer Elizabeth Streb flipped the traditional dance model by opening a 24/7, open-access venue for practice and performance.

I read recently about an awesome project at the San Jose Museum of Art in 2001, Collecting Our Thoughts, in which visitors were invited to write the labels for an art exhibition (more another time). Which made my mind go to a far more irreverent destination: Mad Libs. Pick a plural noun. Then an adjective. Then a number.
