During the pandemic, these local education leaders have been critical in identifying and launching initiatives that not only assist girls in continuing their education during school closures, but also help them get back in the classroom when schools reopen. In addition to tracking grants, we use Salesforce as our main donor database.

Our communities vet good ideas, apply the "trust" layer, and motivate us to take real action — from donating to becoming an advocate.

During a panel on fundraising, Donors Choose raised enough money to fund a music classroom project in Austin. And am I ever energized.
