I liked a couple party ideas from their site: A treasure hunt where everything the guests find is donated to a children's hospital. A green themed party where guests can plant seeds to take home and grow. All of the gifts are pooled to purchase one gift, and one donation to a cause for the birthday boy or girl.

DC Metblogger Flickr Photo. So, the Sharing Foundation has continued to use our method of getting donated laptops in the US, refurbishing them, and getting them to Cambodia. Virginia Debolt who covers the technology beat at BlogHer has a great roundup of the reactions. I blogged it and was initially very excited!

And then another program is Reclaim the Future, which is one our newest projects, that is addressing green-color jobs and building opportunities for low-income people, formerly convicted people, and communities of color in this new green economy.
