Part of my job is to help put together Net Tuesdays in San Francisco, monthly meetings for social changemakers and web innovators to socialize, network and share resources. PT/SLT (Second Life time), 32 Nonprofits and their supporters will host a grand opening celebration in their new offices in the Nonprofit Commons in Second Life.

Good Sharing v. Bad Sharing

deviantART does an awesome job of this, allowing people to "skin" websites with art/graffiti which is then accessible to members. There are many cool things about DTV, but on a basic level it's a great way to share Second Life, and what's going on there, with other people--not just as passive viewers but as active participants.
