To effectively use mobile and social media to raise funds on cause awareness days, you need to prepare months in advance. Then when planning your content strategy, add the awareness day campaign(s) to your editorial calendar. Be sure to embed your avatar or logo and the hashtag for the campaign on the images and graphics.

The organization is asking supporters to change their Twitter, MySpace, and Facebook avatars at 1:10 on Friday, March 6th to the "oneten" avatar. The Global Fund for Women also has an online toolkit to help you host a house party. For more information, go to www.oneten.org.uk. Host your own event.

In fact, I'll be arriving in a Jetson like transportation and my avatar will probably look a lot like Jane Jetson. . I had joked with Jerry that one downside is the inability to remember our calendar - and that with this socialness will our friends eventually collaborately remind us of our appointments. (It It was funny at the time).
