Part 1: It's What You Want In 2002, I was finishing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at WPI, a hands-on, technical university in Worcester, Massachusetts. I had a healthy second life as a slam poet, and I loved the world of artists and performance. It was exhausting, stressful work, and I loved it.
