Last week, the Sacramento Bee newspaper published an account of a very prominent electronics recycler, Electronics Recyclers International (ERI), that has been a leader in advocating for responsible environmental practices, while at the same time dumping lots of electronic junk overseas. It was big news in the recycling industry then when the Sacramento Bee published multiple documents including shipping receipts (also called bills of lading ) proving e-waste dumping by ERI.
