folksonomies??? -- it's a play on the word ???taxonomies.??? taxonomies.??? Folksonomies reveal how the public is making sense of things, not just how expert cataloguers think we ought to be thinking. Tagging at public sites can give you a sense that you're adding to a shared stream of knowledge. robotics???

If you wanted to sell this inside a corporation, show the tag stream for the tag taxonomy. The stream of interesting knowledge that comes out of it ??? However, the benefit to exposing the popular terms is that a taxonomy emerges from the bottom up. A great example of a folksonomy is ebay - where a laptop is a notebook.
