Back in our "normal" environments, we're trying to break the mold. Not only do we get the warm validation feeling, but we get to dig into the issues that face us with like-minded individuals. Dave McDonough and the local host committee also did a terrific job of making our stay in Long Beach exciting.

Museum 2.0

We do have friendly gallery hosts, but not every hour of the day. This is only going to become a bigger issue for us as we invite in new audiences and incorporate more participatory experiences throughout the museum. The Milwaukee Art Museum has a video explaining do's and don'ts of the museum for children. We don't have guards.

Unfortunately, these issues rarely break through the noise barrier. We hope OneWEbDay can change that and help to build a global constituency of people who care about the health of our 21st century communications environment. This year's theme -- One Web. What excites me the most are the projects people are coming up with on their own.
