Do you know of other donor contracts or restrictions (besides copyright) that would allow the display of an artifact and disallow its reproduction? Should the museum impose a fee on reproducers or limit their pursuits in other ways?

First, in the Netherlands we used them as a tool to influence the Dutch government and get the media on board. The impact of the campaign in the Netherlands was overwhelming. The press pickup was great in the Netherlands, and OK in Washington; not that many journalist were covering the World Bank meetings that year.
