This site worked much like Katrina Aftermath , with aggregations of content generated by the public, news orgs and govt agencies. It is now headed towards the gulf coast of the US.

I’d never experienced New Orleans, Louisiana (or NOLA as the locals call it), but I thought I knew it well. They’ve seen poverty and tragedy in their city, experienced natural disasters and man-made neglect. After all, every February I got to hear all about Mardi Gras. I present three of them to you now. Lesson #1: NOLA does not whine.
