According to a recent national poll , when price and quality are equal, 77 percent will choose a brand that supports a cause. There are lots of alternative gift giving opportunities too, take for example Save the Children gift catalog that lets you and your children explore a map of the world and imagine how simple gifts make a difference.

One of the reasons I am so excited about the work I am doing with NetSquared is because I think that these new web-based tools, especially podcasts, are an incredible way for nonprofits to get the word out about their causes, especially when they are listened to through headphones.
