CompuMentor in due course turned into TechSoup when it became a national nonprofit, and TechSoup Global in 2008 after it had become an international organization. In the space of two months recently we were able to pull together capacity builders in Southeast Asia and technologists in Eastern Europe to cross traditional borders.

I always think of the consciousness that must have been possessed by the Masons who laid the foundations of those cathedrals in Europe that took four centuries to build. So we figured that if we did a weekend event, The Green Festival, that would get us to know this green economy movement, build some credibility.
