What about Hurricane Sandy? Are people going to give less because they donated to Hurricane Sandy relief? Disaster giving is not a zero-sum game. Giving to disasters does not take away from other nonprofit causes. Disaster giving has provided some temporary relief to the situation. Is it the economy?
