Mapping Experiences: Rethinking Wayfinding in Museums

There was a recent post on the ASTC listserv from a museum planning to revamp their wayfinding system. Most museums aggregate their content, either by category (Impressionism, Dinosaurs, World War II) or by abstraction (3rd Floor, Green Wing) and the maps reference these aggregate names. We looked at the museum map on the wall.
