That's where this work really sprung out of in looking at issues of homelessness, looking at issues of women on welfare, and looking at women in prison-- those who were really most affected and most in need of their voices being lifted. Young women of color, what are the issues that are most important to them?

We work in countries like Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, among others. When we met her, Honorata was homeless. Saving ourselves is part of saving humanity and saving the world, I feel, especially with the discussion of women because it is such a global issue. That's the story of Women for Women.
