It is a collaboration between American students and residents of Sikoro, a dusty periurban town of 65,000 people outside the capital city of Bamako, Mali. The CHAG is given considerable liberty with what they do, but they must rely mostly on local resources and advocacy. However, empowerment is what we strive to create.
