I would bring the laptop and plug into the phone line and do demos in small groups. There wouldn't be a local node or the phone had some weirdness that prevented me from dialing out successfully. Like the time I was doing a session in an artists loft and the phone jack was 150 feet away and my phone cord was only 125 feet.

I was able to find some research and pieces about laptops in the classroom. One piece of advice that I learned from Cliff Atkinson's book was to think about your presentation key points as tweets so people can retweet them. Be prepared to improvise more and drop the script if it isn't working with the audience. Know of any?
