Winner of the Creative Commons 2006 Photo Schwag Contest I believe in setting my content free. Social Media Game In 2007, David Wilcox and I presented a workshop at LASA using this game he created. We used it for the WeAreMedia workshop and one of the participants, Aids.Gov, remixed a version to train their staff.

It's been awhile since I've shared the progress of The Tech Virtual , the web and Second Life-based virtual exhibit workshop that The Tech Museum of Innovation opened in December of 2007. Some of these people are professional artists or exhibit designers, but most are just talented folks with an interest in museums.

I''ve given talks and workshops about it all over the world. If participation was my mantra from 2007-2011, community has been my mantra since then. Our museum is highly participatory: plenty of opportunities for visitors to contribute, for artists to collaborate, for community members to co-create.
