It's rare that a participatory museum project is more than a one-shot affair. While these participants had done the hard work of capturing the images, it was up to the institutions to validate, tag, caption, and prepare them for Wikipedia's use. They're now running a compelling experiment in crowd-sourced exhibition creation and curation via the photography exhibition Click. Click is an exhibition process in three parts: The Museum solicited photographs from artists via an open call on their website, Facebook group, Flickr groups, and outreach to Brooklyn-based arts organizations.

Extension programs use wikis, flickr, blogs, tagging, and other tools to share information and content. By using tagging and RSS extension programs are able to exchange information and share content freely. Nutrition or fill in your Extension topic/subject area in Blog posts , in tags and in the Blog Directory. It's messy.
