Facebook recently announced a test in Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Slovakia, Serbia, Guatemala, and Cambodia. And as Facebook continues to evolve, nonprofits should seek ways to become less dependent on their algorithm. I’m not saying that your nonprofit should ditch your organic social strategy. But no algorithm is perfect.

The project has been so successful at raising student reading skills that they hope to provide similar services to their non-disabled students as well. Our dream is to raise the floor for every person with a disability, to ensure access to the material needed for education, employment and social participation.

I also lived in Sri Lanka right about the time that sex tourism became a big deal, and saw it firsthand. They actually raised over $13,000 for a project of ours along the Thai-Burma border, which was phenomenal, and that is something that anybody could do.
