He inspired audible gasps when he quoted a shocking statistic from the Bridgespan Group—only 6% of nonprofits use their data to drive improvements in their work. It is essential that nonprofits get away from using data purely for marketing and instead focus on using data for monitoring. I check out the ideas42.org org blog a lot.
