The show ended, and I immediately signed up to be a Women for Women International sponsor. They sat side by side to discuss the role of women in rebuilding society, women's rights and the new Constitution, and family law. Women for Women is a nonprofit that pairs women survivors of war with women sponsors all over the world.

We have seen that in other places as well such like in Rwanda, and in the Middle East and numerous other places. The year before that, women in Morocco won an amazing change in the law. Until then, women had been considered minors under the law. It hasn't happened in Latin America's history.
