I've just returned from organizing an electronics recycling conference in Cape Town, South Africa, where I met Dr. Hylton Villet, the chairman of MyDigitalBridge in Namibia. and was completely surprised at how African projects like MyDigitalBridge are getting low-cost Internet to low-income people in a mostly rural country. Namibia is a medium-sized country that borders South Africa. After Mongolia, Namibia is the least densely populated country in the world.
