I’m here at NTEN’s 09NTC and am going to live blog Beth Kanter’s session on mapping your social media strategy to metrics. How do you use a RSS feed like a rockstar? Feed digest. ARC - we are set up similarly, Robin Parker does Oregon Trail chapter for example. Can’t wait! test and teweak.

We want all of the above on a map. Several maps! Custom maps, plus Google Maps, and Yahoo too! This community will grow, attracting new talent and ideas, which all feeds back into the quality of the project. We want thumbs up and thumbs down, and images. And videos! Lots and lots of video.

Because I can imagine how I’d have instinctively, obsessively pulled up my feed, to check the pulse of the planet again and again and again. For one, I’d already exchanged emails with a friend in Oregon who’d wanted us to come get him. I’m sure we’d have had to put limits on the offer.
