Transparent scorecard reporting: After aggregating a "grade" for each policy maker, publish it on the Internet, with all relevant substantiating information. See the Darfur scores for example. The response from the politicians themselves has reportedly been substantial.

Widgets are little applications that live on some other page on the web, where the info in the widget comes from some server somewhere else. Their application is called Causes, and when you sign up you can pick from many causes, such as Save Darfur or One.org. These sites are places where I can make my page, connect with friends, ect.
