Making accommodations comes down to respectful language and accommodations that require observing and checking in with participants. Respectful language is important. However, the term “Walking Meetings,” is ableist.

It is always challenge to use participatory techniques when your participants are not native English speakers and you don’t speak the language. The thumbs up means the pace and language is good.
