This year, the American Association of Museums annual conference was in Los Angeles (my hometown). A few highlights: Cecelia Garibay talked about audience development at the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum. It featured mariachis, an extraordinarily odd panorama , and a fabulous beer hall with superb french fries.
