Global Empowerment Mission has already deployed one ship full of supplies to Haiti and is continuing to raise funds to aid in their distribution efforts. Supporting nonprofits in their hurricane relief efforts helps tremendously with the relief effort. Their focus is on the well-being of children and families. Find the Helpers.

It's an amazing act of love really in response to the hurricane and the racial neglect that occurred down on the Gulf. The leadership team includes about nine of us and we're different ages, races, genders, orientations, you name it, and we work together in a democratic fashion. Is it children and literature?
