To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the refurbished computer’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. Bruce Buckelew of OTX West, which supplies refurbished computers to low-income students in Oakland, California, recalls the "decline and fall" of the computer refurbishment field 20 years ago.
