I have many examples from my own children and those of Sharing Foundation stakeholders - many who are adoptive parents and have encouraged their children to give back to Cambodia.

My fellow BlogHer co-editor, Beth Kanter , has launched a fundraising campaign using ChipIn. Between now and December 31st, Beth is working to raise $750 for the Sharing Foundation , an NGO that works with local officials, orphanages, and NGOs in Cambodia to improve children's lives. She sits on their board.

I used the BBS to post questions asked by people in a local face-to-face support group who were not online. I jumped on the BlogHer bandwagon in 2005 and followed all the BlogHer's - they were on my sidebar initially - like Lisa, Jory, Elisa, Liz Henry, Lisa Cantor, Ponzi, Lisa Williams, Danah Boyd, Amy Gahran, and many, many others.
