Participants not only raise funds for the causes they care about, but they are empowered to spread awareness, to honor a friend or family member, to honor a loved one lost, and to be recognized for their efforts and achievements. By removing the ability to have a walk in its traditional sense, we lose the pinnacle of the event season.
