When I'm done, I export the show into iTunes where I convert the file into an MP3. Then, I upload the MP3 to my hosting service, Libsyn. I also appreciate the discussion and sharing of resources on the Yahoo! Libsyn makes it easy for you to format your show for iTunes' specifications, and they provide some basic statistics (e.g.

general awareness at around 40%, though… people don’t necessarily know they are consuming a podcast, audio embedded in rss etc. Also look at who is going to do it - hosted show vs curated show, etc. if you are recroding with multiple people, you can record them to separate audio files so you can edit more easily.
