I grew up in Oklahoma. But there’s a lot of unexpected beauty in Oklahoma—weird folk art with plastic deer, a beautiful house. As an artist and a lecturer at the university, I'm expected to put my work up in competitions as art. I'm working with speech to text software to filter outside sound and create poems.
