I grew up in Oklahoma. But there’s a lot of unexpected beauty in Oklahoma—weird folk art with plastic deer, a beautiful house. As an artist and a lecturer at the university, I'm expected to put my work up in competitions as art. For example, I’m modifying a digital midi theremin as an alternative mouse device.
