T, December 10th, the international community is observing Human Rights Day to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the creation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Through projects that integrated statistical analyses into multidisciplinary human rights work, we engaged in the public debate about human rights violations in Colombia.

It is open source software, but we're experimenting with a revenue model to sustain the project over the long term. You can visit our Colombia Project Page to read more about this work. The result is that rich, raw data remains vulnerable to theft and destruction and cannot be easily used to support ongoing advocacy efforts.
