Braincake isn’t some fakey attempt to pander to teens. It reflects the GMSP’s—and Jen’s—commitment to creating a set of programs by and for its audience: teen girls. Jen and I sat down to talk about building for teens, working the web, and the role of innovation in museums. Some people are voyeuristic, some are active.

At the big one, I worked on a small project with teens to design science exhibits for community centers in their own neighborhoods. In DC, I worked half-time for NASA as an electrical engineer and half-time for the Capital Children's Museum (now defunct) as a science educator. Anna accepted my proposal. hour at the Museum.
