I'm particularly excited about two internships that relate to participatory exhibition design. First, there is the Participatory Exhibit Design Internship. These interns work with our curatorial team to develop interactive and participatory components for upcoming exhibitions.

In its short existence (it opened in 2013), the place has made a name for itself as a successful community-driven, innovative cultural initiative. The neighborhood is a mix of people and communities by design and has a rich social history. After the photography show, the team was encouraged to continue their work.

In January 2013, Dd also hosted a hackathon mainly comprised of local students and programmers, further cultivating ownership and sustainability in the process. This is best done in a participatory fashion, making sure that data is available offline. " Dd has enlisted and trained local leaders program from the beginning.
