The app was a finalist in Microsoft's 2011 Imagine Cup, a student technology competition. While the app is only available for Washington voters, it could potentially be adopted for other states. Windows 8 adopters can also try out the Viewer for Khan Academy desktop app, which lets you watch Khan Academy videos on your desktop.
