I was already studying agriculture at the University Wisconsin-Madison. City Slickers Farm is taking over a park, with the support of the city of Oakland. They're going to be growing some food in one of the downtown West Oakland parks, which is pretty exciting. It was a natural path for me, and I've been on it ever since.
