We spent Day 2 of the E-Mediat Train the Trainer sessions on “ Translating The Networked NGO in the Arab World.&# To localize Networked Nonprofit concepts to an Arab NGO context, as appropriate, for improved project outcomes. There were many ideas, but all agreed sharing success stories from NGOs in their country was important.

My role over the past year been in the areas of: program design, design and delivery of a train the trainers intensive workshop in-country last March (see posts #1 , #2 , #3 ; #4 ); and develop and support the target NGO curriculum (intensive strategic and skills based curriculum). I started work on the E-Mediat project over a year ago.

I’m here at the Dead Sea in Jordan where I delivered the key note for the E-mediat Networking Conference, “New Media for the Networked NGO.” I’ve been working on this project for more than year. Organizations raised almost $125,000 through integrated social media campaigns from donors.
