We got to know Charles Brennick much better in the course of working together on a Microsoft IT equipment donation to NGOs in Romania a couple of years ago. The quality control systems that Charles and his team have created so that people who are learning on the job can produce grade-A refurbished equipment is pretty astonishing.

I'm presenting and doing a workshop in Romania and then will be flying back to Boston via Miami to present at the Technology Affinity Group (Foundation IT folks) Conference. For catastrophic hardware issues, I have my back up computer - my laptop and I can plug my desktop keyboard, modem, and monitor) and viola I'm up and running.
