It was recently recognized by the City of San Jose for raising awareness of computer science among teens. Students bring their own laptops to a public library, and receive instruction from high school-aged instructors. It has trained more than 470 students seventh grade and up in 13 libraries throughout Silicon Valley.

In most cases, we sent them the instructions, hardware, and software they'd need and then stood back and watched how the installation went. We did periodic check-ins on how the MultiPoint Server system held up under use so here is a case study from one YMCA site. It is one of 200 program sites in this very large and active YMCA.

Transgender teen Ali Forney fled his home at age 13. A Safe and Secure IT System. " He said he didn't require any installation assistance as the "instructions that TechSoup provides along with the licenses are very clear and simple." Forney was murdered in 1997.
