Gavin has posted some early photos of the founding meetings for Aspiration, NTEN, and the NSNT on flickr. An early video from the Riders Conference in Kansas City in 2000 was discovered on Blip.TV. Maybe we need an NPtech History Archive ? He notes they were all taken with a Sony Picturebook mini-laptop with built-in camera.

I had wanted to travel to Kansas City in 2000 to participate in the conference, but didn’t make it. The photo above is of Rob Stuart in 1997 at a meeting in Montana to create a plan at what eventually became NTEN – thoughtfully documented in photos by Gavin Clabaugh and included in the nptech history wiki.
