One of those individuals is Paul Ohisa, and he's a refugee from Sudan. His dream was to go back to Sudan, and to contribute and help rebuild. It had been bombed.

Our members envision a world in which the global community is willing and able to protect civilians from genocide and mass atrocities. For example, since 2005, the US has allocated over $4 billion in humanitarian and peacekeeping and development assistance to the people of Sudan and Eastern Chad. His campaign was successful.

About three years ago, I watched a fabulous documentary series sponsored by the Skoll Foundation called The New Heroes. Martin Fisher: The problem we're trying to solve is global poverty. Unless we solve this problem of global poverty, the other problems won't be able to be solved.
