Of all social media worldwide, Facebook dominates and its new fundraising tools will likely transform global giving. If Facebook extended their fundraising tools to WhatsApp (owned by Facebook) and Facebook Messenger, messaging apps would likely become much more powerful in their ability to raise money for charitable organizations.
